The cover label (3) is releasably secured to the support material (1) by a layer (5) which becomes non-adhesive when released. This layer of specified cling-coating film has only limited adhesion once the cover label has been removed. The layer can also be of adhesive film or hot-bond adhesive and label (3) and layer (5) are secured to a parting film (6), itself glued (7) permanently to the support (1). The cover label has a second adhesive layer (8) on its non-support face and has a non-adhesive edge part (10). The material layer (11) of the cover label (3) should be opaque. The label proper (2) is permanently glued to the support (1) by adhesive layer (12) via parting film (13) also non-adhesive on its non-label side. The label has a second and transparent layer of material (15).
