PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent play of a steering column by increasing the sliding contact force (holding force) of a car body side bracket or the like without any increase in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In addition to the car body side bracket 6 and a column side bracket 7, a support bracket 14 extended from a lower column 2 between the car body bracket 6 and the column side bracket 7 is newly provided, whereby in tilt fastening or telescopic fastening, the car body side bracket 6, the support bracket 14 and the column side bracket 7 are respectively slid in contact. Accordingly, the sliding contact force of the brackets 6, 14, 7 can be increased so that play of the steering column can be surely prevented. |
