PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a gas permeability, even for a high PC ratio by charging a small lump coke in the upper part of the furnace core position at the lower part of a large lump coke and developing a solution loss in the small lump coke prior to the large bulky coke. SOLUTION: This method for charging a row material into a blast furnace, is to keep the gas permeability even under the high PC ratio, by charging the small lump coke in the mixed state with an ore (2) in the upper part of the furnace core position at the lower part of the large lump coke 3 supplied into the blast furnace 1 to develop the solution loss in the small lump coke prior to the large lump coke 3.
