PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new batch type polyethylene terephthalate-crystallizing device wherein the performance is improved, the crystallization processing amount is increased, the crystallization processing period of time is shortened, and the crystallization processing cost is reduced. SOLUTION: This batch type polyethylene terephthalate-crystallizing device is equipped with a batch tank 2, a charging port 3 for pellets before the crystallization, a conical screen separator 5, a space 6, a discharging port pipe 8 having an opening/closing shutter, a plurality of stirring blades 12 in the vertical direction, a plurality of stirring blades 13 in the lateral direction, a hot air-feeding device 17, and an air-discharging port 19 for the used hot air. In this case, the charging port 3 is provided on the upper end of the batch tank 2. The conical screen separator 5 is provided in the bottom section of the batch tank 2. The space 6 is formed under the screen separator. The discharging port pipe 8 is connected to the deep location of the screen separator, and discharges the pellets to the outside of the batch tank. The stirring blades 12 stir the early stage pellets during the crystallization existing in the upper half of the batch tank while returning them upward. The stirring blades 13 stir the latter stage pellets during the crystallization existing in the lower half of the batch tank 2 and in the screen separator 5 without returning them upward. The hot air-feeding device 17 feeds hot air into the space. The air discharging port 19 for used hot air is provided at the upper section of the batch tank.
