PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which forms an image stored in a computer memory where optically scanned data are displayed as an array having at least two dimensions and which virtually scans the stored image. SOLUTION: The sub-set of an array is defined as a part of an image having first and second dimensions. The value of the sub-set is derived, the sub-set is increased and the value of the increased sub-set is decided. The process of increment and a process for deriving the value of the increased sub-set are repeated. The derived value of data is compared with a calibrated reference and the adjusted value of data is generated. In the case of electrophoresis, the value of adjusted data shows a sample which is subjected to electrophoresis and scanned. Then, the value of adjusted data can be integrated or can be processed by a different method. |
