PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the front glass from falling matter under the possibility of the presence of the failing matter with respect to an industrial vehicle driven by a driver looking ahead through the windshield from the inside of a driver's cab. SOLUTION: A pent-roof member 30 for protecting the windshield 10 from a falling matter is mounted on a ceiling board 9 of the driver's cab 3, and longitudinally movable between a projecting position. A where it is projected to an upper and front part of the windshield 10, and a retracting position B where it is retracted from the upper part to a rear part of the windshield 10. The pent-roof member 30 can be fixed to the projecting position A and the retracting position B by means of eye bolts 38. By moving the pent-roof member 30 to the projecting position A, the pent-roof member 30 is projected to the upper and front part of the windshield 10, whereby the windshield 10 can be protected from the falling matter from the upper part.
