PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning accuracy of a relay fixing point of a shift motion point especially, in the relation to means for relay-fixing an operating cable for connecting an operating side and a motion side of an automobile transmission mechanism. SOLUTION: A relay fixing means of the operating cable 4 is disposed integratedly with a starter 4. A front bracket 21 of the starter 2 attached on a position of a transmission mechanism block 1 with good accuracy is integrated with a fixing bracket 22 for setting a relay fixing point position of the operating cable 4 for originally engaging a ring gear 32 with a pinion 23. It is thus possible to positioningly attach the fixing bracket 22 to the motion point 1a, and it is also possible to improve positioning accuracy of the relay fixing point and the motion point 1a, only by attaching the starter 2 to the transmission mechanism block 1 with a small number of part items.
