The vehicle (2) has at least one functional unit and an associated control unit (S1 to Sn) that can be parameterized and the management device (1) has a parameterizing unit (4) built into the vehicle that is operationally connected to the control unit(s) via a field bus (3). The functional units are reversibly operationally connectable to the parameterizing unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of parameterizing at least one control unit associated with a functional unit for a vehicle management device.
