PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method for a combination member capable of obtaining high dimensional accuracy in axial direction. SOLUTION: In the case of making a combination member 10 by preparing a hollow member 11 and an inserting member 12 and by joining them together by welding with the inserting member inserted into the hollow member; a spot welding part 14 is placed in a superposed part 13 where the hollow member 11 and the inserting member 12 lie one on top of the other, thereby a correcting welding process is provided which corrects a distance between the ends in the axial direction for the hollow member 11 and the inserting member 12.
