<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating organic waste liquor, by which obstruction of the generation of methane by sulfide is satisfactorily avoided and the raising of the treating cost is restrained in anaerobic treatment of organic waste liquor containing sulfuric acid radicals. SOLUTION: This method for treating waste liquor by using the waste liquor treating apparatus 100 comprises decomposing organic materials in the organic waste liquor 1 with an organic material decomposing microbial cell in a acid generating tank 3, oxidizing the sulfuric acid radicals with a sulfuric acid reducing microbial cell, separating the produced hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from the waste 1 to send them to a culturing-with-light tank 6, annihilating them with a sulfur bacterium (a photosynthesizing microbial cell) and oxidizing hydrogen sulfide in the tank 6, subjecting, on the other hand, the organic liquid waste 15 obtained by separating/removing the hydrogen sulfide to methane fermentation in a methane generating tank 16 to produce a gas component rich in methane content and recovering/storing the gas component in a gas storage tank 19.</p> |
