摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detector capable of obtaining a diffracted wave having a large amplitude in an ultrasonic flaw detection for detecting a defect depth by use of the diffracted waves at the upper and lower ends of a defect. SOLUTION: A transmission-side ultrasonic probe part 11 is formed of the assembly of ultrasonic probes 12 having an array structure. The transmitting timing of the ultrasonic wave outputted from each ultrasonic probe 12 of the ultrasonic probe part 11 is successively delayed, whereby the ultrasonic beam B transmitted from the probe part 11 is converged and scanned. The receiving side is constituted in the same structure, and the receiving timing of the ultrasonic wave by each ultrasonic probe 16 of an receiving-side probe part 15 is successively delayed synchronously with the transmission-side ultrasonic probe part 11, whereby the ultrasonic beam B transmitted from the transmission-side ultrasonic probe part 11 is simultaneously received by each ultrasonic probe 16.</p>
