PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously perform the measurement of chlorine concentration in a short time. SOLUTION: This method has (a) the process of applying, for each of a plurality of calibration plating solutions, a potential difference between a working electrode 3 and reference electrode 4 dipped in the calibration plating solution to measure a plurality of current values carried to the working electrode 3, (b) the process of determining a calibration curve on the basis of the current values measured in the above process (a) and chlorine concentrations of the calibration plating solutions corresponding to the respective current values, (c) the process of applying a potential difference between the working electrode 3 and reference electrode 4 dipped in a plating solution with unknown chlorine concentration to measure the current value carried to the working electrode 3, and (d) the process of measuring the chlorine concentration of the plating solution on the basis of the calibration curve determined in the process (b) and the current value measured in the process (c).
