PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an L-shaped clamp for a switch lever is provided to enhance strength against a shock by sufficiently extending a bent portion. CONSTITUTION: An L-shaped clamp for a switch lever is manufactured by the following procedure. A metal square bar(10) of specific thickness and size is heated at temperatures from 1200deg.C to 1250deg.C. The heated metal bar is pressurized in a pressure of 200Tom/cm¬2 in a vertical upper face to form a protruded portion(20). The other side of the protruded portion is pressurized in pressures from 50Tom/cm¬2 to 60Tom/cm¬2 to bend the metal bar in an L shape. The bent end of the L-shape metal bar is pressurized in pressures from 95Tom/cm¬2 to 105Tom/cm¬2 via a die(40). Therefore, an L-shaped clamp member having a round end portion(30) is obtained. A complete L-shaped clamp(200) is formed by punching a hole(31) in the round portion. As the bent portion is thick and strong, breakage of the L-shaped clamp is prevented. Further, an accident due to the breakage is avoided.
