PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative photosensitive composition having high sensitivity, excellent in preservability and giving a planographic printing plate excellent in printing performance. SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains a nitroxyl compound besides a dye and a borate complex. A planographic printing plate utilizing the composition is obtained.
