PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling apparatus for tablets or the like wherein a tablet or the like can be filled in a pocket portion 44 formed on a container film 41 in a predetermined filled posture to reduce a frequency that a failure is determined. SOLUTION: A vent hole 11 communicating with a suction device is formed on a bottom of a recessed storage pocket 10 formed on an outer peripheral surface of a rotary drum 8. The tablet 1 which is carried according to a rotation of the drum 8 is sucked through the vent hole 11 and is kept sucked in the pocket 10 while a part of it protrudes out of the pocket 10. The protraction of the table 1 is inserted into the pocket portion 44 of the container film 41 being carried below it while it is being sucked in the storage pocket 10. Then the tablet 1 is forced to separate from the pocket 10 by a release claw 20 and filled in the pocket portion 44 in the predetermined filled posture.
