PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical method for performing connection between any kinds of two bars through a short process by a general field worker by simplifying a connection method for a reinforced concrete steel bar and omitting a preparatory process such as threading in the bar. SOLUTION: A connector of this invention uses its both ends for connecting two reinforcement steel bars provided with the same/different dimension/ dimensions and attached to the both ends of the connector. The connector is provided with a grooved bar having grooves specially designed so as to be tightly fitted to a rib pattern on the bar with the opposed respective bars clamped by means of an end nut, and the grooved bar produces binding power between the connector and the bar. In the use of the connector, the grooved bar serves as a substitute for an internal grooved connector usually used with the bar. By means of the grooved bar suitably used for this connector and the connector, two steel bars are connected together. |
