PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the wrinkling formed by floating of a sheet with respect to a drum and to execute suction exposure without unevenness. SOLUTION: This exposure device has the drum 31 which has plural through- holes penetrating its peripheral wall from an external space to its internal space, an air suction means from this internal space, a rotating means 500 for the drum 31, a feeding means 400 of the sheet P thereto and an exposure means to the sheet P held on the outer peripheral surface of the drum 31, holds the sheet P fed by the means 400 on the outer peripheral surface of the drum 31 by the air pressure difference between the outside and the internal space generated by the air suction means and exposes the sheet P held on this outer peripheral surface by the exposure means. The means described above sucks the sheet P in the state that its front end Pa is fed onto the outer peripheral surface of the drum 31. The air pressure difference between the external space and the internal space during the time the sheet P is fed onto the outer peripheral surface of the drum 31 is smaller than the air pressure difference when the sheet P is sucked in the state that its front end Pa is fed onto the outer peripheral surface of the drum 31.
