PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing an upper plate for furniture by using a corrugated cardboard panel made by inserting and attaching many corrugated cardboard pieces closely between upper and lower corrugated cardboard plates for improving compressive strength. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the upper plate(4) for the furniture comprises the steps of: rounding the both ends of the corrugated cardboard panel(1); making the both ends of the rounded panel(1) face each other to form two layers; spreading an aqueous bond(3) on the inside of the rounded panel(1) and pressing; putting rim parts(5) on the other both ends of the panel(1) not be rounded.
