PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation fixture of a rope end device and an installation method of the rope end device, enabling one worker to perform work for installing the rope end device on a counterweight.SOLUTION: An installation fixture 10 is used when installing a rope end device 6. This installation fixture 10 includes a spring temporary placing member 10a having through-holes 10a1 smaller than an outer diameter of a spring 6b and larger than an outer diameter of a nut 6c for installing the spring 6b on a rod 6a by threadedly engaging with the rod 6a of the rope end device 6, on positions opposed to arranging places of the springs 6b abutting on a suspension member 5a. This spring temporary placing member 10a is oppositely arranged to the suspension member 10 at a longer distance than the total length of the spring 6b, and is held by a counterweight frame 5b of a counterweight 5. Thereby, installation work of the rope end device 6 can be performed by one worker boarding a movable gondola 7. |
