PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-piece clip capable of preventing a male member from falling down from a female member even if the clip is shipped in a temporarily assembled state that the shaft part of the male member is inserted approx. half into the hole of the female member. SOLUTION: This clip 11 comprises a male member 12 and a female member 13. A groove part 16 is formed, in thread shape, in the outer peripheral surface of the shaft part 15 of the male member 12, and a portion (sliding surface) 17 where the groove part is not formed is provided in the area ranging from the groove part to the tip side thereof. A projection 20 screwed with the groove part 16 is provided on the inner peripheral surface of an hole in the female member 13. The shaft part 15 is pressed into a hole 26 until the tip part of the groove part 16 is threaded with the projection 20 so as to assemble temporarily. Under the temporarily assembled condition, a leg part 21 is inserted into mounting holes 28a and 28b in panels 27a and 27b and the shaft part 15 is pressed in completely to expand the leg part 21 of the female member 12 so as to be engaged with the rear surface of the panels for quick fixing. Also, the male member 12 is rotated from the fixed state to move the screw so as to pull out the male member 12 by a specified length in order to reduce the diameter of the leg part 21. Thus, the clip 11 can be removed from the mounting holes 28a and 28b.
