The system has a turbo-compressor (4) of the type having a turbine (6) driven by exhaust gas of the engine and a compressor (5) coupled to the turbine for enhancing the inlet air pressure. There is a unit for diverting the inlet air downstream of the compressor as a function of the engine operating conditions, such that an airflow having a pressure greater than the inlet feed air passes through the compressor. The diverting conduit (12) having a pilot valve (13) is connected to the inlet feed conduit downstream of the heat exchanger (1) allowing the cooling of the inlet air. |
