PURPOSE: A method for preparing a drink containing an extract of Pleurotus ostreatus having abundant active polysaccharide and dietary fiber is provided to promote absorption of the nutrition of the mushroom in the body and physical health. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps of: (i) pulverizing 50-80% of Pleurotus ostreatus into powder; (ii) extracting the mushroom powder with 15-40% of pine needle, cnidium rhizome, Astragalus membranaceus Bunge, hoelen and Schizandra chinesis BAILL in hot water of 90deg.C for 30min.; (iii) cooling and centrifuging the mushroom extract and homogenizing the extract with 5-35% of apple juice, citric acid, plum extract, maltose and propolis; (iv) sterilizing the resulting extract at 27deg.C under pressure of 5-30kg/cm2 and vacuum packing the extract.
