PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of lessening the labor required for unit exchange work. SOLUTION: A TS shutter operating section 72 of a toner set C2 consists of an latching pawl 72a, a knob 72b and a rail engaging part 72c. A rail part 63a for inserting and removing a drum set C1 to and from the device body is provided with a notched part 68. When an operator or the like grips the knob 72b and operates the TS shutter operating section 72 so as to turn the section in clockwise section, its latching pawl 72a turns the TS shutter operating section 72 about 90 deg. while latching on a guide 64 disposed on the drum set C1 side. The connection of the drum set C1 and the toner set C2 is then completed. The rail engaging part 72c is loosely inserted into the notched part 68 of the rail part 63a at this time. Even if operator attempts to remove the drum set C1 and the toner set C2 from the device body in this state, the rail engaging part 72c is hooked on the rail part 63a and the removal thereof is obstructed. |
