PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to control pressure of external and internal air efficiently as well as to blow external and internal air to the upper and the lower part inside a vehicle smoothly. CONSTITUTION: Plural blower fans(51,52,53) are rotated by a motor(54). Internal air blows to an internal intake chamber through a first and a second internal intake port(411,412) while external air flows into an external intake chamber through an external intake port(421). The internal air is blown to a first internal feed path(111) of an air conditioner case(1) by a first internal blower fan(51) and to a second internal feed path(112) by a second internal blower fan(52). Then the internal air is heat-exchanged through an evaporator(21) and a heater core(22) sequentially. The cold or hot air flows to a discharge part of the internal feed path. The internal air is discharged to the lower inside of a vehicle through a foot vent(16) if the foot vent is opened and a communication vent(19) is closed. Thereby, the inside of vehicle is cooled or heated. If the communication vent is opened and the foot vent is closed, the air is discharged through a defrost vent(17) and a face vent(18) via the communication vent. Therefore, the inside of vehicle is cooled or heated.
