<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM switch with priority control function that can execute control, in accordance with the priority of cells through one VC. SOLUTION: The ATM switch with priority control function, that conducts priority control on the basis of priority information set in a packet of a host layer, is provided with a priority buffer provided by each priority on the basis of priority information, a priority detection section that detects priority information set to a received cell to obtain the priority, a share control section that decides a corresponding priority buffer, on the basis of the priority obtained by the priority detection section, a write control section that writes cells to the priority buffer decided by the share control section, and a read control section that reads the cells having the highest priority in existence in the priority buffer.</p> |
