PURPOSE: A method for printing letters or various designs on makeup cotton is provided which delicately prints desired pattern on the makeup cotton and has no effect on the original functions such as absorbing property and hygroscopic property. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a makeup cotton compresses a cotton fabric(1) supplied by a supplying roller(2) with a heat-compression roller to form an embossing part(71) on the cotton fabric at regular intervals and cuts the center of the embossing part into an adequate size for packing. The method for printing letters or various designs on makeup cotton comprises steps of: (i) after spraying the top side of the cotton fabric with an acryl binder, drying it to form a surface-treated part(73); and (ii) printing various letters or trademarks on the top side of the surface-treated part with a printing ink prepared by mixing a dilute solution of the acryl binder with a paint by using a method such as a silk-screen method.
