PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing RF signal and power to a remote RF unit of the base station is provided to realize amplification/power supply circuit having the variable amplifying function to compensate for the loss of IFL cable connecting the ground base station and the remote RF units of the tower-top base station and the bias-t function for power supply, thus enabling to construct a small-size base station with low cost, and improving the reliability by its dual-realization. CONSTITUTION: The first RF switching unit(210) switches input signal according to switching control signal. The first amplification/attenuation unit(220) amplifies the output signal from the first RF switching unit to compensate for the loss of path, and attenuates the signal to suit for the processing input condition of an antenna tower. The second RF switching unit(230) switches one output signal of either the first amplification/attenuation unit or the first RF switching unit according to the switching control signal. When failure occurs in the first amplification/attenuation unit(220), the second amplification/attenuation unit(240) amplifies the output signal from the second RF switching unit to compensate for the loss of path, and attenuates the signal to suit for the processing input condition of an antenna tower. The third RF switching unit(250) switches one output signal of either the second amplification/attenuation unit or the second RF switching unit according to the switching control signal. A switching control unit(260) generates a switching control signal of RF signal by comparing the voltage generated according to the current biased to the first amplification/attenuation unit(220) to the reference voltage. A power supply unit(270) supplies the output signal of the third RF switching unit(250) and power to the antenna tower.
