摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a tungsten carbide roll by which grooves are easily processed is provided to reduce processing load and processing tools, and shorten accompanying working time according to groove processing by finally supplementary precision processing the tungsten carbide roll after predictably groove processing in advance in the lower hardness stage during manufacturing of a tungsten carbide roll. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a tungsten carbide roll by which grooves are easily processed comprises the processes of mixing 80 to 90 wt.% of a raw material tungsten carbide with 10 to 20 wt.% of a subsidiary raw material of binder consisting of cobalt, nickel and cobalt (S1); manufacturing a green compact by cold isotropic compressing and forming the mixture after the mixing process (S2,S3); pre-sintering the green compact at a temperature of 480 to 520 deg.C for 28 to 32 hours after the green compact manufacturing process (S4); resintering the roll through groove roughing process processing rough grooves on the manufactured roll after pre-sintering process (S5,S6); and precision processing and inspecting the grooves by passing through a hot isotropic compression process in which pores formed inside the sintered roll are removed after the resintering process (S7,S8,S9).
