PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perforating apparatus capable of smoothly discharging punch chips in regard to a rotary type perforating apparatus capable of carrying out a high speed punching process. SOLUTION: The rotary type perforating apparatus has a protrusive blade roller 81 provided with a punch means and a recessed blade roller 83 provided with a die means engaging with a punch blade. The apparatus is featured by that the recessed blade roller is provided with a perforation chip discharging mechanism 835 moving inside a die in association with a rotation of the recessed blade roller so as to protrude a part thereof outside further than a die opening when a die part of the recessed blade roller is positioned in a lower position.
