PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of a constitution for cooling of a static induction device using a plate heating pipe and to minimize. SOLUTION: A transformer is constituted of a transformer body 1 and SF 6 gas 2 for cooling and insulating the transformer body 1, which is contained in a tank 3. The transformer body 1 is constituted of an iron core 5 and a coil 6, made of a conductor which is wound on the iron core 5 in a shape of concentric circles. The lower terminal part of a plate heat pipe 7 for heat collecting is inserted in a gap of an interlayer between a high-pressure layer and a low-pressure layer of the coil 6. Additionally a heat plate pipe 8 for heat radiating is bonded at an upper terminal part of the plate heat pope 7 for heat collecting. Further the heat plate pipe 8 for heat radiating is firmly contacted with the internal surface of the tank 3. As a result, the heat generated by the coil 6 is conducted to the tank 3 via the plate heat pipes 7 and 8 and is radiated.
