The precision fixing process fixes a component (2) such as a pallet to a machine table (3) by means of at least one clamping bolt (5) fitted in a clamping point. Before the bolt is inserted in the component, it is pre-centered in the clamping point by pre-centering elements (7, 8) and lifting modules (6). The bolt is then inserted by lowering the modules.
