PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook of a refrigerated open showcase, whereby a night cover is drawn out to be locked and which is highly resistant to deformation and damage though the hook is a plastic molded article mass-produced at a low cost, in order to facilitate a locking operation and locking release operation. SOLUTION: Reinforcing plates 11 are arranged along the under surfaces of L-shaped frames 7. Notched parts 12 are formed on the under edges of the reinforcing plates 11. A locking pawl 9 is fixed backward on the lower end of a grip 8. An operating piece 13 for releasing a locked condition is installed in such a manner as to protrude obliquely forward at the upper part of the grip 8.
