PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image processor high in operability by making it possible to perform image processing in various mode and shortening the time needed for the image processing. SOLUTION: This image processor provided with a CPU 5 executing the whole processing, an image memory 8 storing image data and an ASIC 7 capable of executing a preset prescribed operation for performing image processing of the image data, executing the preset preprocessing before a prescribed operation and controlling timings when the preprocessing and the prescribed operation are carried out with the CPU 5, is provided with a memory 9 for preprocessing in which preprocessed data subjected to preprocessing is stored.
