PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure displacement of an engine valve by blocking noise. SOLUTION: A periphery of a sensor coil 13 wound to a bobbin 14 is covered with a shield cylinder 20 consisting of an inner cylinder 18 made of a nonmagnetic metal material and an outer cylinder 19 made of a high permeability metal material fitted on a circumferential surface of the inner cylinder 18.
