PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorated molded item of a plastic in an economical and highly productive way. SOLUTION: A moldable decorated film having a hot melt adhesive layer on a side opposite to the decorated surface is disposed in an inner side of a female mold so that the decorated surface faces the inner side of the mold and then a molded item of a plastic formed in advance to match the female mold is inserted in the mold to press the decorated film on the inner side of the female mold whereby the film is given a predetermined shape and welded to the molded item.
