PURPOSE: A method for operating an electronic name card service using a portable phone is provided so that a user can retrieve an electronic name card, stored in a web server, using his portable phone, download retrieved name card information through the portable phone, and also transmit his electronic name card to a specific person through the web sever and a communication sever. CONSTITUTION: A user access a web server through a computer terminal(S51) and searches a database stored in the web server for a desired electronic name card(S53). After selecting the desired electronic name card(S55), the user inputs the portable phone number of a receiver who will receive the selected electronic name card(S57). Confirming the receiver's portable phone number and the selected electronic name card, the user transmits the electronic name card to the receiver(S59). |
