PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic private branch exchange which can automatically determine a proper termination destination, without having a user previously register a termination destination of incoming from a public network with the reported telephone number of the caller. SOLUTION: This exchange comprises an administrative trunk-line interface part 2, extension interface part 3, channel switch part 4, system control part 5, database part 6, caller's number storage part 7, call history storage part 8, and termination table part 9, and frequency of calling to an extension answering to an origination source is counted up in the termination, and an extension whose calling frequency exceeds a certain frequency is registered in a termination table as the termination destination of the origination source. When there is a subsequent incoming, termination is performed according to the termination table part 9 and the termination destination can automatically be determined, without letting the user previously register the termination destination.
