PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability and the performance in the case of reading an original with a color scanner removable from a facsimile terminal main body. SOLUTION: In the case of reading an original by the color handy scanner, the original read mode is automatically set to the highest performance of the scanner, and image data are properly converted and outputted in matching with an output medium and method.
