摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To longer or super-longer lengthen the natural period of a building. SOLUTION: This structure of an earthquake-resistant building comprises a core shaft 1 and a main structural body 2 supported in an oscillating manner with its top as a supporting point. The main structural body comprises a top structural body 4 supported on a top of the core shaft by an oscillating supporting device and a building support part 5 supported in a suspended manner, and is responded as a pendulum like a balancing toy in an earthquake, and its natural period is set to be sufficiently longer than the period of the earthquake. The oscillating and supporting device forming of a single spherical seat 3 or an assembly of a plurality of base isolation devices inclined toward the imaginary center, is provided in one stage or in a multiple stage in the vertical direction. A phase mechanism 15 and a damper 6 are interposed between a building body part and the core shaft or the ground. A slab 10 is supported in a suspended manner with columns 8 of the building body part as suspension members, and a reinforcing means 14 to restrict the interlayer displacement is provided. A stay 6 projecting upward is provided in a center part of the top structure body, and a peripheral edge part of the top structural body is supported from the stay by tension members 7 in a suspended manner.
