Physical strength enhancing agents which are efficacious in enhancing the motor ability of those who want to develop stamina such as sportspersons and players; and substances by which the amount of glycogen accumulated in the liver and/or muscle can be elevated. Namely, physical strength enhancing agents which contain a mixture of cyclic and/or chainlike polylactic acids having a degree of condensation of 3 to 20; and glycogen accumulation promoting agents which contain a mixture of cyclic and/or chainlike polylact ic acids having a degree of condensation of 3 to 20.
