<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damages to a product in the manufacturing process of a display without increasing the manufacturing cost by forming a plurality of gate electrodes on one face of a frame in a prescribed pattern, and arranging the gate electrodes and spacers on a plate via the frame, not directly. SOLUTION: Gate electrodes 19 of a prescribed thickness are formed on one face of a frame 21 formed with spacers 23 on it. Gate electrodes 19 have hole sections at positions corresponding to the hole sections 21a of the frame 21 in a stripe pattern. The frame 21 is mounted on a back plate 3, so that the emitters 11 formed on the back plate 3 are located in the hole sections 21a. The spacers 23 are arranged to correspond to the non-display region of a sealed container 5, thereby the frame 21 of this flat display device can be fitted to a plurality of spacers 23 easily, when it is mounted on the back plate 3.</p> |
