PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply apparatus in which a hot water storage tank can be held conveniently in a specified high temperature zone with high combustion efficiency while eliminating harsh sound incident to frequent on/off of a burner or intensive combustion. SOLUTION: The hot water supply apparatus comprises a combustion boiler 10 provided with a hot water storage tank 12 as a heat exchanging medium tank and heats up water in a hot water supply heat exchanging section 22 with hot water in the hot water storage tank 12 by disposing the heat exchanging section 22 of a hot water supply circuit 20 in the hot water storage tank 12. Combustion of a burner 13 for the combustion boiler 10 is interrupted when the temperature of the hot water storage tank 12 reaches a predetermined upper limit regardless of actual hot water supply operation and resumed when the temperature of the hot water storage tank 12 drops below a predetermined lower limit. Combustion capacity of the burner 13 is varied depending on the temperature of the hot water storage tank 12. |
