PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writable optical disk device enhancing efficiency of the write-in of information data to the optical disk and also appropriately writing while correcting the detrack as much as possible. SOLUTION: This device is a writing device provided with a head 2 for writing the data into the writable optical disk D having the address information and provided with a tracking control means 10 for positioning the head, and it is furnished with an impact sensor 22 for detecting the impact force exerted on the head 2, a read-out means 2 for reading out the address of the present writing time point from the optical disk, a decision means 14 for deciding whether the continuity of write-in is held with the read out address of the present writing time point or not, and a position correcting means 14 for controlling to correct the position of the head by cooperating with the tracking control means in accordance with the existence of an output of the impact sensor when the discontinuity of write-in is decided in the result of the decision.
