PURPOSE: A vent grill device is provided to communicate with the outside at use of a vent grill and to design the front of the vent grill variously. CONSTITUTION: A vent cover is mounted in a vent grill(20) installed in the top front part of a microwave oven and the vent grill is opened and closed selectively by rotating an odorless driving motor(40). A cover driving unit(35) is mounted in the rear part of the vent cover, and a driven gear unit(37) is installed in the cover driving unit. A driving gear(42) is installed in the driving motor and engaged with the driven gear to rotate. Stoppers(25,25') mounted in the vent grill control the rotation direction of the driving motor by regulating the rotation of the cover driving unit. The vent grill is opened and closed selectively by driving the vent cover with the driving motor. The vent grill device diversifies the front shape of the microwave oven and is easy to clean.
