PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and noise, and improve durability by communicating intake valves and exhaust valves in a pair of diaphragm chambers partitioned by a diaphragm with each other, and acting the diaphragm chambers as pump chambers respectively by reciprocating motion of the diaphragm. SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic diaphragm pump 1, two pump chamber bodies 11, 15 formed in the same constitution are disposed opposing to each other through an electromagnetic stone 91. For example, one side of the pump chamber body 11, a pair of diaphragm chambers 31, 32 are sectioned by a center diaphragm 41 and bulkheads disposed on both sides of the diaphragm 41. In this case, in one side of the pump chamber body 11, intake valves 71, 72 and exhaust valves 73, 74 in the diaphragm chambers 31, 32 are mutually communicated with each other by communicating pipes 81, 82. For example, a means for vibrating one side of the diaphragm 41 is composed of a permanent magnet 51 attached to a center part of the diaphragm 41, and an electromagnetic stone 91 disposed opposing to the permanent magnet 51 through the bulkhead 22.
