摘要 metal cutting tools, possibly for working blanks of constructional hard-to-form quenched steels and cast irons with rigid surface. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for friction-blade cutting allows to work surface with roughness degree Rz = 10-15 micrometers. Apparatus includes cutting disc 1 with cylindrical front surface 8 and with stem 13. At side of lower end 9 disc has cylindrical turning 14 whose diameter is less than that of front cylindrical surface of disc by 10-12 mm. Turning is joined with front cylindrical surface 8 of disc by means of two diametrically opposite rectangular windows. Cutter inserts are mounted in turning 10 in such a way that front portion of insert is arranged in window and its rear portion is secured to disc by means of bolt. Spatial position of supporting area and step of cutter insert provides necessary cutting angles of cutting tip 3. Apex of cutting tip 15 is spaced by distance equal to 10-12 mm from front cylindrical surface 8 of disc and by 1-1.5 mm from surface of lower end of cutting disc.
