PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an endoscope in such a manner that airtightness and strength may be surely assured without requiring skill and that the airtightness and strength may be maintained in spite of heating and cooling by subjecting the endoscope to repetitive autoclave sterilization. SOLUTION: This endoscope is constituted by joining front end cover glass 31 constituting an image pickup unit 30 and a front end cover glass frame 36 as a second member by brazing forming fillet. Similarly thereto, the joining of the front end cover glass frame 36 as a first member and an insulating frame 38 as the second member and the joining of the insulating frame 38 as the first member and a rear end cover glass frame 40 as the second member are executed by brazing forming fillet. When the first members are fitted and joined to the second members, the fitting ends of these first members and second members are provided with chamfered parts and are brazed by forming the fillet in these chamfered parts. |
