PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to automatically set the optimum initial values of stereoscopic vision parameters by including a parameter determining means for determining the stereoscopic vision parameters, output means used for stereoscopic vision output of an image for the right eye and an image for the left eye with the determined stereoscopic vision parameters, etc. SOLUTION: The space data for stereoscopic vision on the image 31 for the right eye and the image 32 for the left eye is previously stored in a memory. When an adequate basic line and convergence angle are set, a composited image 33 is displayed as the two images 31 and 32 having an apparent offset on a display. The parameter determining means, thereupon, determines the stereoscopic vision parameters in accordance with the image data of either of the image 32 for the left eye and the image 31 for the right eye and the offset information indicating the offset distance between the image 32 for the left eye and the image 31 for the right eye at a two-dimensional drawing space. The output means outputs the determined stereoscopic vision parameters as the stereoscopic vision output for the image 32 for the left eye and the image 31 for the right eye. |
