A solid oil-in-water emulsion, comprises an aqueous phase containing gellane, at least one oil, and surfactant system with an HLB of at least 7. Independent claims are also included for: 1) a make-up product for skin or keratin fibers, comprising the claimed emulsion in the form of body make-up, foundation, eye-shadow, blusher, concealer, lipstick, lip-liner, mascara, eye-liner or hair strand make-up/dyeing stick; and 2) the process of make-up of skin and/or keratin fibres, comprising application of the emulsion and/or the product as claimed.
