PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for image formation where a printing of necessary front side image and a printing where the backside is unnecessary to be printed are performed utilizing a single processing part and in a single process. SOLUTION: In this device, a 1st toner image and a 2nd toner image that are separated in the direction of rotation are formed on a photoreceptor drum 8 and when the 1st toner image is rotated around the periphery to a transfer position abutted on a transfer roll 9, the 1st toner image is transferred to the transfer roll 9 by applying transfer voltage that is of a reverse polarity to that of the toner to the transfer roll 9. After that, the leading end of a sheet of paper is carried to the transfer position when the transfer roll 9 is rotated once and the 1st toner image is transferred to the backside of the paper sheet 2 by applying transfer voltage of the same polarity as that of the toner to the transfer roll 9. Then, the transfer voltage of the transfer roll is changed over to the reverse polarity to that of the toner and the 2nd toner image is transferred to the front side of the paper. |
